Boarding is a fundamental aspect of the student experience at Fulford Academy. Our boarding students join a small, safe, and nurturing community that enhances their academic and social success at Fulford. The Residential Life Program is designed to be a social and interactive experience, overseen by our dedicated residence team.
Through our boarding experience, students gain the confidence and independence that will prepare them for future life in post-secondary school.

A Safe and Caring Community
The well-being of our students is the number one priority at our boarding school. Fulford Academy’s residence team is made up of a group of dedicated individuals that ensure our students are safe, happy, and healthy.
Boarding students are supervised by our team in the evenings, during clubs and activities, as well as throughout the night by two overnight supervisors. In a supportive community, students have the space to thrive in their academic and social lives.



Fully-Equipped Dormitories
Our Residence is located a 10-minute walk off-campus and boasts a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River. The three-level residence building includes 28 dorm rooms that are divided into single, double, or triple occupancy.
Available services and amenities include:
- Rooms equipped with a bed, desk, dresser, and AC/heating unit
- Common rooms and washrooms
- A kitchenette on the 1st and 3rd floor
- Weekly laundry and room cleaning services
Boarding students can enjoy the grounds around the dorm featuring picnic tables and lawn sports. During free time, students also have the option of walking downtown to explore what’s on offer in Downtown Brockville.
Exciting Weekend Activities for Boarders
The Fulford residential team organizes weekend activities that appeal to the many interests of our boarding students. This includes trips to nearby cities, cultural events, shopping, or sporting events. Many of our weekend activities are seasonal and focus on Canadian cultural events, including:
- Canada’s Wonderland
- Montreal’s Biodome and Science Center
- NHL Hockey Games, Soccer Games, and Football Games
- Kayaking
In a central location between Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto, Brockville is a great base for international students looking to explore more of Canadian culture.
