The Dual High School Diploma Program at Fulford Academy is a specialized program that gives international students the chance to earn two high school diplomas: an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and a high school diploma from their home country.
This program is ideal for students with advanced academic skills and a desire to compete in university applications. From around the world, students enjoy the flexibility of a virtual program that can be completed entirely online. With different streams of study and learning pathways to choose from, students can commit to a rigorous curriculum that supports their future goals.

Explore Different Streams of Study
The Dual High School Diploma Program offers two different streams to suit the academic goals of our students:
Math/Science Stream
- Functions
- Chemistry/Physics/Biology
- Advanced Functions
- Calculus & Vectors
Social Science Stream
- Intro to Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology
- 5 Social Studies electives
Students in both streams complete mandatory courses in English and Literacy, as well as 40 hours of community services.
Choose Your Pathway
The Dual High School Diploma is all about flexibility. There are two pathways available:
Grade 9 Pathway
- Open to students who have completed Grade 9 in their home country
- Students attend their regular academic year in their home country, completing Grade 9-12 courses to earn their high school diploma
- Students complete the 7 credits necessary to obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
Grade 10 Pathway
- Open to students who have completed Grade 10 in their home country
- Students attend their regular academic year in their home country, completing Grade 9-12 courses to earn their high school diploma
- Students complete the 7 credits necessary to obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
The Dual Diploma can be completed entirely online, with the option to take courses on the Fulford Academy campus during the summer.

- Graduates are eligible for an offer of admission to Acadia University in Canada for an undergraduate program of their choice without having to complete an IELTS test
